Bailen

I'm nearly caught up on blogging all the bonny babies of '08. It might take a while for me to narrow down my favourites from the family portraits done over Christmas but I'll get there.

Stella

Stella wins the award for the wildest hairdo! I think she is way ahead of her time and starting new trends already.

Maroochydore Wedding

A super quick sneak peak for Michael and Amy before my big announcement (next post) . From blue skies to downpours. A totally relaxed, fun, intimate wedding. Perfect!

The many faces (and other bits) of James

This is the third session for James (not counting Mum's belly session!) and he'll be back again for his 1st Birthday pics too. It's wonderful to watch him change as he grows.

I could've call this the B post. "Bean bags, bums, blocks, balls and bubbles."

Sleep, laugh, sleep

Mum was really trying to get baby Kade laughing while he was in the bright coloured bean bag but it seems the time to laugh is when you get your gear off, and bean bags are for sleeping in.

Lovely, little Lacey

Is there anything more beautiful than a sleeping baby?

Nathaniel

Mum had her heart set on two things with Nathaniel's photo shoot. She wanted him smiling and she wanted one of him on his tummy in his birthday suit all curled up with his knees tucked up (like a little frog). Of course, Nathaniel had different ideas. He was most content to show his serious side and wasn't having a bar of being on his tummy.

Mum just about wore herself out trying to get him to smile and eventually was rewarded with this quick show of gorgeousness. That was the only smile he was giving us though!

Alannah

Goldilocks? Or just the three bears?

Or maybe Sleeping Beauty?

Madeline

With eyes like pools you could dive straight into . . .

she's just adorable.

Ella

Sometimes when you look at a babe you can get a sense of what they are going to be like when they are older. Or what you think they are going to be like. It would be fascinating to see the babies I photograph as they grow into toddlers and then school-age children and develop into teens and then young adults. The first photo of Ella gives me the feeling of a refined young lady. Probably a ballet dancer. I don't know why, it just does.

Cruisin' with Kruz

Here is my first little gumnut baby. The girls have the pink and yellow frangipani's and I've been trying to find something for the boys for a while. As an avid gumnut collector (don't ask me why, I just like 'em and I have 'em in all sorts of shapes and sizes all over my house) I was excited to find these in the park just near my house. Baby Kruz was the perfect little model to trial them for me.

Isn't that the cutest little pout you've ever seen? And those eyelashes ...!
