Mapleton Magic and the last 'hurrah'

As delightful as weddings are, and this one especially so, we'd like to take this opportunity to announce that Wild Honey Photography are no longer taking bookings for wedding photography. We are now exclusively specialising in family portraiture on the Sunshine Coast.

So congratulations to Lynda and David, not only on the start of their married life, but on being our lucky last wedding clients (ok, never say never, but, you know, we're not actively out there looking for weddings to photograph).  The Sunshine Coast Hinterland at Boorman Eco Lodge provided the setting for a gorgeous day.  Sunny blue skies, fantastic scenery, a vintage theme and lovely, lovely people, what more could you ask for.

Sarah had a wonderful time sharing in Lynda and David's special day and capturing all the special little details that Lynda went to so much trouble to organise.

"Many best wishes for your future together, Lynda and David, and we look forward to seeing you back at Wild Honey Photography when the time comes to update your family photos."

Cheers
Deb and Sarah.

Spring Babies

Along with the glorious sunshine we have a bevy of beautiful babies sporting flowers to help us welcome Spring at the Wild Honey Beehive. They all look delighted to be discovering their first experience of the new season. I don't mind winter but I'm glad to have this one behind us. It's been a relentless few months with lots of dramas going on behind the scenes. Each of us has been affected by health issues in one way or another, if not ourselves than those close to us. Tracey's husband is recovering from heart surgery. Sarah had a worrying time getting all sorts of tests done and a quick stint in hospital. And I had a friend and colleague go in for emergency surgery, resulting in me taking on his workload for a few weeks. It's been a busy, stressful time. And as a grand finale, we had a computer crash on the last day of winter.
Fortunately, everyone seems to be on the mend now, even the computer.

So to Melanie, Chloe, Alexia, Sophia, Lucy, Amarlia, Maddison, Arlette and Kiarah, thank you for  making our spring even brighter.
